ADELAIDE


Adelaide is known as the “City of Churches”, easily traversed due to the foresight of Adelaide’s original town planners.  The tranquility suggested by this description, the elegant architecture and beautiful gardens belie a vibrant city that is home to an ever changing program of events.

Art & Heritage


The traditional owners of the Adelaide Plains are the Kaurana people, a fact that is recognized in the Aboriginal Cultures Gallery, which houses the world’s largest collection of Aboriginal antiquities. If you would like to explore Aboriginal culture from a completely different perspective, the Tappa Mai tour at the Adelaide Botanic Garden is an ideal way to learn about traditional Aboriginal food, medicines and culture.

The Hills


The Adelaide Hills are a short 20 minute drive from Adelaide and boast a wide variety of activities and sites. Walking trails, rock climbing, historic townships the Adelaide Hills offer all of this and much more.  Visit Hahndorf, originally settled by German immigrants in 1839, or visit Mt Lofty for a spectacular view of Adelaide and its surrounds.

Sun & Sand


If the beach is your passion, then head off to Glenelg; simply take the tram from Adelaide down to the beach.  Jetty Rd, which leads down to the beach, is a great location for a stroll, people watching and on the weekend is a hub for street markets, adventure activities and entertainers.
