If you believe that personal information CVB holds about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, then you may request amendment of it.  CVB will consider if the information requires amendment.  If CVB does not agree that there are grounds for amendment, then CVB will add a note to the personal information stating that you disagree with it.

Marketing and promotion communications

  1. CVB may use the personal information provided to send newsletters outlining news, services, promotional offers or events (both electronic and hardcopy) to you.

  3. Once the information is collected, CVB will take all reasonable steps to protect that information from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.  CVB will destroy your personal information once it is no longer needed for the purpose for which the information was collected.

Miscellaneous

This policy represents CVB’s policy as at 26 October 2006.  CVB may change this privacy policy from time to time.  Any amendment will be made on a prospective basis, i.e. all information received or retained before the time of any amendment will remain subject to the privacy policy applicable before the amendment.
  2. Although CVB intends to observe this policy at all times, it is not legally binding on CVB in any way.  From time to time CVB may regard it as necessary or desirable to act outside this policy.  CVB may do so subject to any statutory rights you have under the Privacy Act or other applicable legislation.
